Beautiful Machines, Reason2Party, 7X7 unite to benefit Larkin Street Youth Services
OFFICIAL FACEBOOK EVENT PAGE: https://www.facebook.com/events/400273996702691 Think back to the summer of love, a time when everyone had the freedom to be exactly who they wanted to be. At Reason to Party's Summer of Love Gala at the St. Regis Ballroom on August 18th, we will create freedom for those who need it most with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Larkin Street Youth Services. Larkin Street is an internationally recognized leader providing innovative, effective housing, medical, social and educational services to at-risk, homeless, and runaway youth ages 12-24 across 25 programs and 15 sites throughout San Francisco. RTP is creating the hottest party of the summer. The night will include: - An open vodka, wine and champagne bar with complimentary premium drinks - Live Music by Beautiful Machine (http://www.beautifulmachinesmusic.com/) - Killer DJ's including DJ Sebastian Concha - Local Celebrities - A super fun photo-booth - Beautiful Decor and premium sound by Entire Productions and Blue Print Studios - And beautifully grand art and floral installations Tickets purchased in advance will be $35 for general admission, and $100 for VIP. Along with the party elements listed above, a VIP ticket will grant you access to: - A private and secluded area overlooking downtown San Francisco - Ultra Premium tasting stations - A private champaign reception from 8-9pm - VIP-only designated bar service and seating Ticket prices will increase at the door, and can be purchased in advance at: http://rtpsummerparty.eventbrite.com/ Think of it this way, $35 could buy you a week's worth of your morning coffee, or you could spend that money on a night to remember and feel good knowing that every penny is going to help a teenager in need get off the streets. Larkin Street Youth Services was founded in 1984 as a neighborhood effort to help San Francisco’s most vulnerable youth – homeless and runaway ages 12-24 – in the Tenderloin and Polk Gulch areas of San Francisco and has served over 70,000 youth since they opened. Their programs address the immediate needs youth have for housing, food and safety, while also encouraging their participation in essential support services that offer the skills and resources needed to help them reach their full potential and keep them off the streets for good. How Larkin Street Youth Services help Youth: - Larkin Street’s Assisted Care program was the nation’s first licensed residential care center for HIV positive youth between the ages of 18-25. - The Lark-Inn for Youth is the only emergency shelter in San Francisco for youth ages 18-24. - Larkin Street is the leading service provider of comprehensive housing and supportive services to former foster care youth in San Francisco through the LEASE program. - The Castro Youth Housing Initiative is one of the first housing programs in the nation for LGBTQ youth. - Routz is an innovative housing and intensive support program for youth with severe mental health issues. We hope you join us in celebrating freedom and at the same time helping Larkin Street Youth Services.
